Unit15- Support use of medication in social care settings

 What Qualifications Will I Get?

How Will I Be Assessed?

This qualification is assessed through a variety of methods including reflective accounts, written assignments, producing work related evidence and quizzes. Your course materials will be made available to you online and on sign up you will be allocated a tutor who will support you through your entire course.

What Are The Entry Requirements?

You will need to be working in the capacity of senior support worker in supported project living/day activities, senior healthcare assistant or senior care assistant.

Once you have signed up to the course you will complete a skills scan and a literacy assessment to ensure you are competent in general communication skills within the health and social care setting.

Course Location

The course is offered as an online course and all your materials are available online. You will receive access to all materials once the course fees have been paid. You can also undertake a classroom based session at Hatfield, Hertfordshire. 

Progression Routes

The Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care can be used as a route to nursing qualifications. You will also need to achieve your English and Math and GCSE level or functional skills Level 2 to be able to apply for nursing courses at university

The Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care can also be used as a route to level 4/5 training.
